How safe is it to travel to Guatemala?
Guatemala is a beautiful destination, and like many places, it’s safest when you travel thoughtfully. Antigua is one of the most visited areas for travelers and is generally considered a comfortable home base—especially when you’re moving with a plan.

For this experience, safety is built into the design:

  • We stay in a private villa within a secure gated community in Antigua, selected for comfort, safety, a supported group rhythm, and proximity to town (about a 10-minute walk).

  • We use vetted local drivers and trusted partners for transportation and activities

  • We focus on daytime outings, with evenings kept simple and close to home base

  • We share clear guidance ahead of time (money/phone basics, local norms, and practical travel tips)

  • We keep backup options ready if weather or conditions shift

Travel always involves personal risk tolerance, and you’re welcome to ask anything—my goal is for you to feel informed, prepared, and genuinely at ease.

“Supportive by design” = curated planning + calm communication—so you can relax into the week.
